The Cambridge C2 Proficiency (formerly CPE) is the highest-level Cambridge English qualification. It certifies that candidates have a mastery of English at the level of an educated native speaker, suitable for postgraduate study and the most demanding professional contexts.
The CPE is graded on the Cambridge English Scale from 162–230. A score of 200+ equals a passing grade C; 213–219 equals grade B; 220–230 equals grade A and corresponds to C2 mastery.
