Listening comprehension
Time: 20 min
- Read the questions during the pause before the audio starts.
- Focus on numbers, dates, and key nouns.
- Listen for the overall context first (who, what, where).
- Don't panic if you miss a word; keep following the recording.
Reading comprehension
Time: 30 min
- Scan the text quickly to understand the general topic.
- Underline keywords in the questions before reading the text.
- Look for specific information like times or places in short messages.
- Use visual clues like layout and pictures to help understand the context.
Written production
Time: 30 min
- Keep your sentences short and simple.
- Make sure to answer every part of the prompt.
- Double-check your verb conjugations and agreements.
- Count your words to ensure you meet the minimum length.
Oral production
Time: ~7 min
- Practice introducing yourself confidently and clearly.
- Use simple vocabulary that you are comfortable with.
- If you don't understand the examiner, ask them to repeat politely ('Pouvez-vous répéter, s'il vous plaît ?').
- Smile and maintain eye contact to show you are engaged.
