Tengo 25 años. → ✗ I have 25 years.

Error #3: Olvidar el sujeto
En español: “Está lloviendo.” (sin sujeto explícito)
✗ Is raining.
✓ It is raining.
Más ejemplos con “it” y “there”
Error #4: Artículos innecesarios
✗ I like the chocolate. (cuando hablamos en general)
✓ I like chocolate.
✗ She goes to the school. (si no es un edificio específico)
✓ She goes to school.
¿Con o sin artículo?
Nota: Usamos 'the' con instrumentos musicales y lugares específicos.
Error #5: Preposiciones después de adjetivos
✗ I’m bored of this. (influencia del español “aburrido de”)
✓ I’m bored with this.
✗ She’s good in math.
✓ She’s good at math.

Error #6: “Listen” vs. “Hear”
✗ I heard the music very well. (si te esforzaste por escuchar)
✓ I listened to the music very carefully.
✓ I heard a noise outside. (sonido percibido sin esfuerzo)

Error #7: “Say” vs. “Tell”
✗ He said me to wait.
✓ He told me to wait.
✓ He said, “Wait!”
Regla: tell + persona; say + palabras
Practiquemos “say” y “tell”
Error #8: Tiempos verbales – Presente continuo
✗ I am having a car.
✓ I have a car.
✗ She is knowing the answer.
✓ She knows the answer.
Verbos que NO suelen ir en continuo
Repaso rápido: ¿Qué está mal?
- I’m loving this song.
- She’s having two brothers.
- Do you know what time is it?
Correcciones: 1. I love… / 2. She has… / 3. …what time it is?
