Practice: What room? (Em qual cômodo?)
Onde normalmente encontramos estes móveis? O professor fala o móvel, os alunos dizem o cômodo.
1. A bed? In the bedroom.
2. A fridge? In the kitchen.
3. A sofa? In the living room.
4. A table and chairs? In the dining room (or kitchen).
Grammar — O verbo "Haver" / "Existir"
Em português usamos "tem" ou "há" (ex: "Tem um cachorro na sala"). Em inglês, usamos There is ou There are.

Armadilha: NUNCA use "Have" para dizer que algo existe! "Have a dog in the room" está errado. O correto é "There is a dog in the room".
There is — Singular
Usamos There is para UMA coisa. Geralmente usamos junto com "a" ou "an" (um, uma).

There are — Plural
Usamos There are para DUAS ou mais coisas. Usamos junto com números ou quantidades.

- [X]There are four chairs in the kitchen. (Há quatro cadeiras na cozinha.)
- [X]There are three bedrooms in the house. (Há três quartos na casa.)

Para dizer que "não há" ou "não tem".

Make it negative — Faça negativas
O professor lê a frase positiva, os alunos a transformam em negativa.
1. There is a fridge in the bedroom.
There isn't a fridge in the bedroom.
2. There are four beds in the bathroom.
There aren't four beds in the bathroom.
3. There is a sofa in the kitchen.
There isn't a sofa in the kitchen.

Para perguntar, basta inverter a ordem!
