Present Continuous — Uso
Usamos para ações que estão acontecendo neste momento (agora). Equivalente ao "-ndo" (fazendo, comendo) do português.
Reading
I am reading.
Eu estou lendo. (agora)
Walking
He is walking.
Ele está caminhando. (agora)
Talking
We are talking.
Nós estamos conversando.
Grammar — Como formar
Verbo TO BE (am/is/are) + Verbo principal com -ing.

Atenção: Nunca esqueça o verbo TO BE! "I working" está errado. Tem que ser "I am working".
Spelling Rules — Adicionando -ing
A maioria dos verbos apenas ganha -ing, mas há exceções.
Geral
Apenas adicione -ing
work → working | play → playing
Termina em 'e'
Tire o 'e' e adicione -ing
make → making | write → writing
C-V-C
Consoante-Vogal-Consoante (curtos): Dobre a última consoante
sit → sitting | run → running

Grammar — Negativas e Perguntas

Para o Present Continuous, precisamos adicionar -ing ao verbo principal.
