Listening Strategy: Focus on Keywords

Listen for keywords, not every word.
Example: In 'I want to go to the market because I need fruit', focus on: go, market, fruit.
Strategy: Use Context Clues

Use the situation to guess meaning.
If someone says 'It is raining a lot', and you see rain outside, you know the meaning.

Listen to three short sentences. Write down only the keywords you hear.
