Common Mistakes to Avoid

False friend: 'actualmente' ≠ 'actually' → means 'currently'

Ej: Actualmente vivo en Valencia. (Not: Actually, I live in Valencia.)

Tense mix-up: Don't say 'Ayer fui al cine y veo una película.'

Corrige: Ayer fui al cine y vi una película.

Use fillers wisely:

• Es decir…
