Con síntomas como headache, fever, cold → siempre usamos a, no "the".

Acción pasada → verbo en pasado simple: took, no "take".
I have pain in my head.

En inglés hay palabras fijas: headache, stomach ache, no "pain in..." (suena muy formal o raro en conversación).
The pharmacy is closed on Sunday.

The pharmacy is closed on Sundays.
Para hábitos o horarios generales, usamos el plural: on Sundays, at weekends.
