Los false friends ("falsos amigos") son palabras en inglés que parecen similares a palabras en español, pero tienen un significado totalmente diferente. Son una fuente muy común de errores para hispanohablantes.
Ejemplo típico:Actually no significa "actualmente", sino "en realidad". Decir "I'm actually working" NO quiere decir "Estoy trabajando actualmente", sino "En realidad, estoy trabajando".
