The causative construction faire + infinitif is used when the subject causes an action to be performed by someone else (to have something done / to make someone do something).

• Basic Structure: Faire (conjugated) + Infinitive
Example: Je fais réparer ma voiture. (I am having my car repaired.)
• With an Agent (Doing the action):
Example: Le professeur fait lire les étudiants. (The teacher makes the students read.)
• Pronoun Placement: Object pronouns go before the conjugated verb faire.
Example: Je la fais réparer. (I am having it repaired.)

The causative structure faire + infinitive is used when the subject causes an action to be done or has someone else perform an action.

Structure / Scenario	Agent Rule	Example

Key Rule: Faire and the following infinitive act as an inseparable verbal unit. Object pronouns (le, la, les, lui, leur) always go before the conjugated verb faire, never between faire and the infinitive.
