Hoy aprenderemos a hablar sobre habilidades y profesiones usando can y can't.
Can means to be able to do something.
- I can swim. Puedo nadar.
- She can't drive. Ella no puede conducir.
Can is the same for all subjects: I, you, he, she, we, they.

To ask about ability, start with Can you...?
Can you speak English?
Yes, I can. / No, I can't.
Can she drive a car?
Yes, she can. / No, she can't.
I can speak Spanish.
She can't fly a plane.
Can you cook pasta?
They can fix cars.

Después de can NO se usa to. Correcto: He can swim.
Do
you can play guitar?
Para preguntar, usamos Can you?, no Do you can?
Practice with a partner:
A: Whats your job?
B: Im a nurse. I can help sick people.
A: Can you drive an ambulance?
B: No, I can't. But I can give medicine!
Now switch roles and change the job!
A chef can cook food.
A student can't read books.

Answer in full sentences:
- Whats your job? (or: Are you a student?)
- What can you do?
- What can't you do?
Example: Im a student. I can speak Spanish. I can't drive.
- I can to swim. I can swim.
- She cans dance. She can dance. (can never changes!)
- Do you can sing? Can you sing?
- He can plays guitar. He can play guitar. (base verb!)
Ill say a job. You say one thing they can do!
Examples:
- Teacher A teacher can teach students.
- Driver A driver can drive a bus.

Listen and answer:
