Comparativos
-er than · more ... than · as ... as
Os comparativos servem para comparar duas coisas ou pessoas. Em inglês a regra depende do tamanho (número de sílabas) do adjetivo.
Adjetivos curtos (+ -er)
tall → taller · big → bigger · fast → faster
Adjetivos longos (more +)
expensive → more expensive · interesting → more interesting
Acompanhado de "than"
... + than (que / do que): She is taller than me.
Regra geral (+er)
tall → taller · old → older · cheap → cheaper
Termina em -e (+r)
nice → nicer · safe → safer · late → later
CVC (duplica consoante)
big → bigger · hot → hotter · thin → thinner
Termina em -y (+ier)
happy → happier · easy → easier · heavy → heavier
Adjetivos longos (3+ sílabas)
more + adjetivo: more expensive than
good → better
This book is better than that one. (melhor que)
bad → worse
Today is worse than yesterday. (pior que)
far → farther / further
Lisbon is further than Porto. (mais longe que)
sujeito + verbo + as + adjetivo + as + complemento
Afirmativa
She is as tall as her sister. (Ela é tão alta como a irmã.)
Negativa
He is not as tall as me. (Ele não é tão alto quanto eu.)
She is more tall than me.

She is taller than me.
adjetivo curto → usar -er (não more)
This is more better.

This is better.
better já é comparativo (não usar more)
She is taller that me.
→
She is taller than me.
usar "than" (não que / that)
It is gooder.
