Past Simple

O Past Simple descreve ações concluídas no passado — eventos que começaram E terminaram em um momento específico do passado.
Ação concluída
I visited London last year. (Visitei Londres no ano passado.)
Sequência no passado
He woke up, had breakfast, and went to work. (Ele acordou, tomou café e foi trabalhar.)
Hábito do passado
When I was a child, I played in the park every day. (Quando eu era criança, jogava no parque todos os dias.)

Regra geral (+ -ed)

Terminado em -e (+ d)

Consoante + y (-ied)

CVC (duplica consoante)

I went to the cinema. (Eu fui ao cinema.)
have → had
She had a great day. (Ela teve um dia ótimo.)
see → saw
We saw a film. (Nós vimos um filme.)
do → did
They did their homework. (Eles fizeram o TPC.)
come → came
He came home late. (Ele chegou a casa tarde.)
eat → ate
I ate lunch at 1pm. (Almocei à 1h.)
be → was / were
I was tired. They were happy. (Eu estava cansado. Eles estavam felizes.)
sujeito + didn't + verbo base
Verbos regulares
I didn't work yesterday. (NÃO use "didn't worked")
Verbos irregulares
She didn't go to school. (NÃO use "didn't went")
Verbo To Be (exceção)
I wasn't happy. They weren't there.
Após didn't, use SEMPRE a forma base (infinitivo) do verbo, nunca o verbo no passado!
